Simple to set up 2-pole freestanding design
One of the easiest tent to set up and takedown. I absolutely love the rainfly. It covers almost the whole tent. No doubt that the material used is of high quality. You can say that just by looking at it.
I don't get the idea of why a big tent like this has only one storage place inside. Other tents have more storage. The rainfly has no eave so, there is a big possibility that the rain will get inside.
The Taurus 5 Outfitter has two doors and a maximum center height of 6' 0 which is a tiny bit smaller than the average height of the 30 various 5 person tents we have studied. With 80 square feet of room inside, it is a little bit smaller than some other 5-person tents, and it could be a little tight for you and, up to four other campers during the 3-seasons this tent is suggested for. Smaller tents similar to this one often can make a really nice choice for people that welcome spending loads of hours outside of the tent enjoying the fresh air.
A few of the fantastic things about dome tents are, that they are under normal circumstances light, making them easy to carry around. In near all cases, tents used for backpacking are of the dome type. They are generally speaking, freestanding and very straightforward to set up. In good weather, you can do without guy lines and stakes, not that this is recommended.
Dome tents are the most commonly seen of all the different types of tents you will find when camping. They tend to do better in the rain than other types, allowing water to easily slide off the slanted walls, unlike cabin tents that have flat roofs, allowing the water to pool on the top of the tent. The simplest dome tent should have a rectangular footprint, sloped walls a couple of poles which converge in the middle of the roof. Due to the way they are made, it is typically thought of that they are best for up to a maximum of 6 campers.
