Assembly is really easy with the tent clips that just snap in place over the poles
I love how the rainfly covers almost the whole tent. Setting up and even taking down is just a piece of cake. I also didn't encounter any problems with the materials.
One needs guidance, especially when a young child is setting this up. Poles may be vulnerable if not used in the right way. Same as the poles, the zippers also should be adequately taken care of because it's only a single zip. Since it has two doors, both will be affected.
The Meramac 4 ZF FG has two windows and two doors and a peak center height of 5' 0 which is a little bit less than the average height of the 129 other 4 person tents we have looked at. With 64 square feet of space inside, it is a little bit smaller than some other 4-person tents, and it could be a little tight for you and, up to three other campers during the whole of the 3-seasons this tent is suggested for. Smaller tents similar to this one generally make a very nice choice for people who appreciate spending heaps of hours outside of the tent enjoying the fresh air.
Many of the fantastic points about dome tents are, that they are generally speaking light, making them easy to carry. In nearly all cases, tents used for backpacking are of the dome type. They are usually, freestanding and very simple to set up. In calm weather, you could do without securing the tent with stakes and ropes, not that this is suggested.
Dome tents are without a doubt the most common of all the various sorts of tents you will find when camping. They tend to do better in bad weather than other types, allowing water to easily slide off the sloped sides, unlike cabin tents that have flat tops, resulting in the water pooling on the top of the tent. The most straightforward dome tent should have a square floor, sloped sides two or more poles which converge in the center of the roof. Because of their construction, it is usually considered that they are best for up to a maximum of 6 campers.
