Assembly is really easy with the tent clips that just snap in place over the poles
The tent is pretty huge. I appreciate the product as a whole. Excellent stitching, good quality of fabrics, and you can see how durable it is just by touching it.
I Don't have any major complaints about it — just this one regarding its mesh. The side mesh cannot be zipped shut. It's pretty good when the weather is hot because it serves as ventilation. However, when the weather gets cold, it adds to that. Other than that, nothing else follows. Everything is all good.
The Meramac 4 Outfitter has two windows and two doors and a maximum center height of 5' 0 which is a little bit less than the average height of the 129 other 4 person tents we have studied. With 64 square feet of space inside, it is a little bit smaller than some other 4-person tents, and it could be a little cramped for you and, up to three other campers throughout the 3-seasons this tent is suggested for. Smaller tents like this one can generally make a fantastic choice for people that welcome spending heaps of hours outside of their tent exploring.
Some of the cool points about dome tents are, that they are for, the most part not too heavy, making them easy to carry around. In near all cases, tents used for backpacking are of the dome type. They are usually, freestanding and very simple to set up. In good weather, you can do without guy lines and stakes, not that this is recommended.
Dome tents are without a doubt the most commonly seen of all the different sorts of tents you will find when camping. They tend to do better in bad weather than other types, allowing water to easily slide off the slanted walls, unlike cabin tents that have flat roofs, allowing the water to pool on the top of the tent. The simplest dome tent should have a rectangular footprint, slanted sides a couple of poles which cross in the center of the roof. Because of the way they are made, it is usually considered that they are ideal for up to a maximum of 6 campers.
Down below, you can find a list of the tent's strongest and weakest points.
