Color coded webbing and buckles make set up easy
It is easy to set up and has plenty of room for a couple and a dog. It also survived through a few summer storms without a single leak. It is our second Big Agnes tent, and we are very satisfied.
For me, it's not compatible with four adult persons. Maybe, for four young teenagers, this would be lovely, they would be able to fit inside better.
The Flying Diamond 4 has two doors and a maximum center height of 5' 0, which is a tiny bit less than the average height of the 130 various 4 person tents we have studied. With 61 square feet of space inside, it is a tiny bit smaller than some other 4-person tents, and it could be a little tight for you and, up to three other campers during the whole of the 3-seasons, this tent is suggested for use in, smaller tents similar to this one often make a great choice for people who prefer spending loads of time outside of the tent enjoying the fresh air.
Some of the fantastic points about dome tents are, that they are for, the most part lightweight, making them simple to carry. In nearly all cases, tents used for backpacking are of the dome type. They are generally speaking, freestanding and very simple to set up. In calm weather, you could do without securing the tent with stakes and ropes, not that this is suggested.
Dome tents are without a doubt the most common of all the other types of tents you will see when camping. They tend to do better in bad weather than other types, allowing rain to roll off the sloped walls, unlike cabin tents that have flat roofs, allowing the rain to pool on the top. The most basic dome tent will have a square floor, sloped walls a couple of poles which converge in the center of the roof. Due to the way they are made, it is typically considered that they are best for up to a maximum of 6 people.
Beneath you can see an account of the tent's strongest and weakest points.

Value for money: When considering value for your dollar, this tent is a little bit more expensive than the standard price of all the one hundred and fifty-one, four-person tents we have looked at, all alone this is not a negative thing. We also need to take into account other factors in detail, as we do for every tent.
When we tally up the ratings of a single tent, we consider a lot of things, searching for points where the tent could exceed other similar tents and where it is coming up short. On this occasion, with an overall score of 4.3 and the price info above, we can notice that with a cost of $499.95 info_outline Big Agnes's Flying Diamond 4 is a good bargain although it may be perceived as quite pricey when set side by side with comparable tents.
The ratings show that the build and size the tent gives you make it a fair choice for those wanting a tent that will be used for plenty of years.
