Steady and trustworthy... this is my verdict for this tent. It has given me outstanding value for my money. I am impressed by its performance during bad weather.
I don't like the zipper construction of this tent. It seems to be poorly made. I also noticed, the same as some other buyers, that the zippers are also a little small for the size of the shelter.
The Flying Diamond 6 has two doors and a peak center height of 5' 7, which is a little bit smaller than the average height of the 107 different 6 person tents we have examined With 92 square feet of room inside, it is considerably smaller than some other 6-person tents, and it would be quite tight for you and, up to five other campers during the whole of the 3-seasons, this tent is suggested for use in, smaller tents similar to this one make a great choice for people who prefer spending heaps of hours outside the tent exploring.
A few of the great points about dome tents are, that they are for, the most part not too heavy, making them simple to carry. In near all instances, tents used for backpacking are of the dome type. They are generally speaking, freestanding and very straightforward to set up. In calm weather, you can do without securing the tent with stakes and ropes, not that this is suggested.
Dome tents are without a doubt the most common of all the various types of tents you will find when camping. They tend to fair better in bad weather than other types, allowing rain to easily slide off the sloped walls, unlike cabin tents that have flat roofs, resulting in the water pooling on the top. The simplest dome tent should have a square footprint, slanted sides two or more poles which cross in the center of the roof. Due to the way they are made, it is usually thought of that they are ideal for up to a maximum of 6 campers.Lot’s of modified dome tents have more than just one room to stay in, just like the Big Agnes Flying Diamond two-room tent
