Can be set up alone
A lot of space inside for both people and their gear. Most people can stand up inside with almost no problem. Keeps water out effectively during heavy rains. Windows are big, and may even be useful for stargazing.
If the windows are not closed properly, they leak. Sometimes the walls also leak water. Some parts of the tent develop tears and holes easily. Also heavy.

One of the sweet things about cabin tents is, that the sides are near vertical creating a larger interior, this gives you much more headroom at the sides inside, making it feel much larger than a dome tent, in general the floor areas are quite large compared to other tents.
