Summary: Favorable Reviews

People who bought this tent said that: We used the endurance in the Idaho Rocky Mountains during what turned out to be an incredible 30-40mph wind storm. The guylines kept the tent secure, and we never worried about losing our gear. It is very roomy and comfortable to organize your stuff inside. The inside is super spacious and leaves plenty of room for two adults, a dog, and extra storage space.

Summary: Unfavorable Reviews

Campers, who used it, said that: I knew the dimensions when I purchased the tent, but I am 6'3" and would not advise anybody taller than that to get this tent. On the first trip, the vestibule zipper broke on the second day.

SPECS AND CONFIGURATIONS

The Endurance 2 has two doors and a maximum center height of 3' 3, which is 10 inches less than the average height of the 235 different 2 person tents we have studied. With 36 square feet of room inside, it is a tiny bit larger than some other 2-person tents, and it should accommodate you and, another camper throughout the 4-seasons, this tent is recommended for use in, smaller tents like this one make a really good choice for people who prefer spending lots of hours outside their tent getting some air.

A few of the fantastic things about dome tents are, that they are for, the most part lightweight, making them easy to carry. In nearly all cases, tents used for backpacking are of the dome type. They are generally speaking, freestanding and very simple to set up. In good weather, you could do without guy lines and stakes, not that this is suggested.

Dome tents are without a doubt the most common of all the other types of tents you will find when camping. They tend to do better in the rain than other types, allowing rain to easily slide off the sloped walls, unlike cabin tents that have flat tops, resulting in the water pooling on the top. The most basic dome tent should have a rectangular footprint, sloped walls a couple of poles which converge in the middle of the roof. Due to their construction, it is usually considered that they are best for up to a maximum of 6 people.

Beneath you can check out an account of the tent's pros and cons.

PROS

  1. Vestibules. Having two vestibules. Gives you a place to store shoes and other items that can get dirty, muddy, this is a big plus.
  2. Internal storage. It is nice to see Nemo Equipment has added a gear loft and pockets in the interior to store some of your stuff.
  3. More than one door. With 2 doors, it is simpler to get in and out of the tent, in the middle of the night if needed.
  4. Durable, water-resistant floor. The floor material is 70D PeU Nylon, which is a substantially thick and high-strength fabric. Meaning the base is not prone to rips and punctures. Also, the material has a 5000 mm waterproofing rating, which is very good for most circumstances.
  5. The rainfly completely covers the tent body. The rainfly covers the entire body of the tent from the top to the bottom and has a waterproof rating of 1500mm. Meaning it will easily protect you against heavy rain.

CONS

  1. Lacking in Headroom. With 10% less headroom than similar sized tents, one can see how this could be a negative thing for some campers.
  2. Footprint not Included. There is no included footprint, The floor may be made of 70D PeU Nylon but it is still best to protect it further with a footprint, more so on rough terrain.
  3. Out of Stock. Unfortunately this particular tent is not currently in stock. It is still on the manufactures site the last time we checked.
  4. A tad heavy for backpacking. Even though the Endurance 2, looks like a small tent, it is not probably the best choice for backpacking as it weighs 7 pounds. This is quite a lot more than many other backpacking tents
  5. Sloping walls. Even though Dome tents have many attributes to rave about. The sloping walls do tend to make it all the more smaller inside.

CONCLUSION

4.7 Stars Logo

Our Ratings: 4.7 STARS

Nemo Equipment's Endurance 2 tent is good for base camp and expeditions. There are a couple of other things not already mentioned above which, we found and liked, while researching the model: The integrated fly combined with advanced materials results in significant weight savings., Vestibule provides ample storage space and a window for visibility in the worst conditions and Protected by the NEMO Lifetime Warranty..

With fantastic ratings, and headroom of 3' and 36 square feet of space to play with, this tent is like your very own miniature studio. This will enable you to spend some delightful moments exploring the great outdoors. We found a decent amount of positive points about the tent that you can read through above.

If you found this website looking for an endorsement on this particular tent, we think, it would make for an excellent buy. In case you just happened to arrive on this page while browsing for a brand new tent having never heard of this brand or this tent model before, it is probably a good thing to look at some other similar tents.

Value for money: When contemplating value for money, this tent is a more expensive than the standard cost of all the two hundred and thirty-five, two-person tents we have looked at, this just by itself is not a negative thing. We also need to look at other things in-depth, as we do for each tent.

When we determine the valuation of an individual tent, we regard tons of things, finding areas where the tent could beat other near-identical tents and where it is lacking. On this occasion, with a total rating of 4.7 and the price details above, one can observe that with a cost of $729.95 Nemo Equipment's Endurance 2 is a very good bargain though it may be perceived as quite expensive when compared with comparable tents.

Its overall score shows that the build and space the tent gives you make it an excellent purchase for those looking for a tent that can be used for plenty of years. It should make an ok choice for most campers searching for an adequate four-season dome tent to go camping with, that should serve you well for years to come.
